Harp Music By Ann - "Travels with My Harp"

Ann presents a popular presentation of concert music with informative program notes and amusing anecdotes about her life as a freelance musician.

"It is always a pleasure to have Ann play at the Cathedral. Her sensitivity to the audience, creative programming and musicality make for an enjoyable experience."

“Ann Lobotzke played an hour long program at one of our  "Sandwich and a Steinway" concerts last spring. Her wide range of music from Handel's Harp Concerto to popular Broadway show tunes demonstrated her incredible mastery of this difficult instrument. Ann's warm personality and ease with the audience was reflected when she spoke about the about the pieces and explained the mechanics of the harp. (Many people had never seen a harp up closely.) We are excited to have her back again soon!”

“and harpist Ann Lobotzke took us to the land of dreams that is Debussy’s 1915 Sonata. The episodic, improvisational first movement drifted by like lovely, idle thoughts in a reverie, a free and beautiful as clouds on a summer afternoon.”
